ToolRadar was built by Mahmoud Salamoun, an independent AI tools researcher based in Syria. After spending years testing hundreds of AI tools — video editors, image generators, coding assistants, productivity apps — I got tired of review sites that either praised everything or were clearly paid to do so.
So I built ToolRadar to say what I actually think.
What We Do
Every tool on ToolRadar goes through real hands-on testing — not a quick demo, not a press release summary. We use each tool for weeks, push it to its limits, and score it honestly across five dimensions: capability, ease of use, value for money, reliability, and output quality.
The score you see on every review is exactly what we found. A 9.4 means we genuinely think it's excellent. A 6.1 means it has real problems you should know about before spending money.
Why Trust Us?
No sponsorships. We turn down paid coverage requests regularly.
No inflation. Our average score isn't 9.5. Some tools get a 5. That's intentional.
Real use. We test every tool for a minimum of 90 days before publishing. Not 10 minutes. Not a free trial.
