ToolRadar (“we,” “us,” this site) publishes independent technical reviews and comparisons of AI tools at gotoolradar.com. This page sets out the scope and limits of that content. It should be read together with our About page, which documents our scoring rubric, review tiers, sourcing standard, and update policy.
Editorial opinion, not professional advice
Everything published on ToolRadar is editorial opinion and informational content. Scores, verdicts, and recommendations reflect our assessment at the time of writing, produced through the methodology described on our About page.
Nothing on this site constitutes professional, legal, financial, investment, security, compliance, or technical consulting advice. Our reviews of tools in regulated areas — legal AI, contract analysis, financial software, healthcare, or data-handling platforms — are product assessments, not guidance on whether a tool satisfies your legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
Before deploying any tool in a professional or business context, review the vendor’s own terms of service, data processing agreement, licence, and security documentation, and consult a qualified professional where the decision carries legal, financial, or compliance consequences.
Depth of testing is stated, never implied
ToolRadar does not claim hands-on testing of every tool it reviews. Each review is labelled with one of three tiers, defined in full on our About page:

Where a review carries no explicit statement of hands-on use, it should be read as a Technical Desk Review. We would rather state the limit than imply testing that did not happen.
Scores are comparative judgements
The ToolRadar Performance Score is a weighted composite produced by the published rubric on our About page. It is a structured editorial judgement, not a laboratory measurement.
- Scores are relative to the tool’s own category and to alternatives available at the time of review
- Scores are not transferable between categories — an 8.5 video tool and an 8.5 coding tool are not equivalent products
- A score is not a warranty of performance, uptime, output quality, or fitness for your specific use case
- Reasonable reviewers may reach different conclusions from the same evidence
Pricing and specifications go out of date
AI tool pricing, plan structures, rate limits, model availability, and feature sets change frequently, sometimes without vendor announcement.
- All prices, limits, and specifications are accurate as of the verification date shown on the review
- Currency figures are in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and exclude taxes, VAT, and payment processing fees
- Annual-billing prices are shown as monthly equivalents where noted; your actual charge may differ
- Usage-based costs — tokens, credits, API calls, compute — depend entirely on your own volume and cannot be guaranteed by any estimate we publish
- Quote-only and enterprise pricing figures are reported estimates attributed to their source, not confirmed vendor pricing
Always confirm current pricing on the vendor’s official page before purchasing. We re-verify active reviews on a rolling 90-day cycle, but a price can change the day after we check it.
Third-party information and benchmarks
Our reviews cite vendor documentation, repositories, published pricing, independent benchmarks, and third-party coverage. We link these sources so you can verify them yourself.
- We do not control, audit, or independently reproduce third-party benchmark results, and we identify them as third-party findings where cited
- Vendor claims are attributed to the vendor and are not adopted as our own statements of fact
- Figures such as repository stars, user counts, funding, valuations, or market share are reported as of their stated date and change continuously
- Where credible sources conflict, we disclose the conflict rather than resolving it silently

ToolRadar links to external websites for verification and reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices, security, or terms.
A link is not an endorsement of the linked organisation beyond what the review explicitly states. Visiting a linked site is at your own discretion and subject to that site’s own terms and privacy policy.

Research, drafting, and formatting on this site may be assisted by AI tools — which is unsurprising on a site about AI tools. Every published review is reviewed, verified against its primary sources, edited, and scored by a human before publication, and the named author is accountable for its content.
Accuracy, errors, and corrections
We work to keep this site accurate, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Content is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
